Down with Romanticism

In this digital EP series, two musicians have undertaken a fascinating journey into the past. Through meticulous archival research and deep dives into the sonic landscape of the early recording era, they've embraced an experimental ethos to unearth forgotten dimensions within 19th-century music.

Our approach is as innovative as it is immersive. Drawing inspiration from real-life photography from the romantic era, we've crafted analog paintings that serve as visual companions to our musical explorations. These paintings, infused with a ghostly quality, capture the essence of a bygone era while resonating with contemporary experimentation.

Additionally, we've ventured into the realm of typography, employing experimental typefaces to further enhance the ethereal nature of our project. Through this combination of art forms, we aim to transport listeners to a world where the past meets the present, inviting them to experience music in a wholly new and captivating way.
